The L3Harris Office of Insider Threat and Counterintelligence (CI) is searching for an innovative, technical, and driven counterintelligence inquiries officer in furtherance of L3Harris’ strategy to deter, detect and defend against threats of espionage, theft of trade secrets/intellectual property, intelligence collection, terrorism and other potential risks to L3Harris’s critical assets, technologies, programs and personnel.
Enable and support the deterrence, detection, and mitigation of threats from foreign intelligence entities and insiders to L3Harris.
Conduct objective inquiries into allegations of insider threat activities (espionage, data exfiltration, sabotage, fraud, workplace violence) and conduct and document interviews with employees who present or report insider threat or CI concerns.
Access and integrate information from user activity monitoring tools, internal security incident databases, and other data analytic tools and sources to assess trends and patterns, uncover anomalies, identify intelligence gaps, and propose risk mitigation solutions.
Utilize government, open source, other commercially available systems, and internal databases to review, collect, analyze, evaluate and interpret data to produce actionable intelligence products for the Office of Insider Threat and Counterintelligence and other L3Harris leaders.
Produce and deliver CI and insider threat awareness briefings, debriefings, and training activities. Provide results of internal CI activities and threat information to inform L3Harris personnel on foreign intelligence, insider threats, and associated indicators.
Advise on the evaluation of threats, identification of vulnerabilities, determination of adverse impacts, and development of risk mitigation measures to L3Harris critical assets, programs, and supply chain.
Evaluate damage to L3Harris from incidents of suspected or actual intrusion of L3Harris computer systems.
Work collaboratively across the corporation with insider threat stakeholders to determine the facts and circumstances for matters under the purview of the insider threat and counterintelligence program and manage the referral of information to other offices and functions when appropriate.
Partner with US Government and commercial entities to facilitate the flow of threat and vulnerability information, strengthen response efforts, and leverage best practices.
Progressively responsible experience in tactics, techniques, and procedures utilized by foreign intelligence entities, insider threat detection and mitigation, and CI inquiries and analysis.
Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience in the counterintelligence discipline (specifically CI inquiries and/or analysis) or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
Candidate must possess and maintain TS/SCI clearance
