SAIC Senior Logistics Analyst in RIDGECREST, California
SAIC is looking for a Logistics Analyst to support Naval Aviation, Air Force and Air National Guard customers using the Tactical Combat Training System TCTS on aircraft ranges and the Test and Evaluation/Training Threat/Target Systems (T4S) Program. PMA 205 is the primary sponsor.
The position will support the Tactical Air Range Integration Facility (TARIF) located on the NAWCWD China Lake facility near Ridgecrest California and the Test and Evaluation/Training Threat/Target Systems (T4S) contract. This position is contingent on SAIC winning the T4S contract. Award selection is expected early next calendar year.
Requirements for this position include:
Performs system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving to end users.
Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes including maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans.
Performs logistics tasks inherent to program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition, product support, asset visibility, and material management.
Requires complete understanding and wide application of logistics principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices.
Performs assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.
Recommends changes to team logistics policies and practices.
Develops solutions to a variety of complex logistics problems.
Exerts influence and contributes to the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience; or 10 years of relevant experience without a degree.
Must have an active Secret security clearance.
