Position Summary:

The Storage Engagement and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the front door process to purchase storage. This person will interact with the Storage engineers, capacity planners and Storage Business products to order storage based on product demands. The span of this role is US only.

Responsibilities:

  • Provisioning Storage.

  • Racking/Stacking and Storage configurations

  • Procurement of Network and Storage hardware

  • Coordination with local site support & vendor to upgrade storage peripheral

  • Physical storage migrations/movement etc.

  • EMF tracking

  • Equipment Placement

  • IMACs for unrack / rack, hardware installation, cabling requests)

Required Skills

  • Hands on experience with various storage platforms such as EMC, Netapp, etc..

  • Networking Essentials and Storage Hardware

  • Knowledge of procurement tool like ARIBA etc

  • Knowledgeable in processes to move storage

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Pro-active work ethic with the ability to work independently as well as with guidance

  • Efficent in Viso, PowerPoint and Excel

Desired Skills

  • Working knowledge of bank systems

  • Project Management

  • Past experience with Storage provisioning
