You will be part of a global team that supports Einstein, one of the biggest AI platforms in the industry. You, alongside your team, will work with stakeholders to continuously develop, support, and operate the infrastructure, environment, and tooling that supports and enables the Einstein organization to design, improve, and innovate.
In this role you will have to engineer solutions that move us along our journey towards zero-touch, highly scalable, reliable infrastructure services. Automate, optimize and drive efficiency of effort, code, and process. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience and performance. Create, maintain and share technical documentation used by engineers and other team members.
What you need to succeed
This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communications and problem-solving skills, and the ability to engage and interact with global teams.
The ideal candidate will have skills of an experienced backend engineer, infra-engineer, and DevOps engineer.
Understanding and experience with infrastructure tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Spinnaker.
Knowledge on public clouds such as AWS to create tailored solutions solving challenging problems.
Understanding the concept of engineering for reliability and be able to drive agendas within the team and across the organization.
Working knowledge coding. One or more of Python, Golang, Java, and Bash are preferred.
Working knowledge with Kubernetes, Istio, Docker, Helm, Terraform
Experience in public cloud infrastructure development or equivalent backend development
Working knowledge with AWS. GCP is preferred as well.
Understanding and experience with build, continuous integration and continuous deployment processes, source control and testing pipelines
Working knowledge with UNIX based OSes
Understanding of how to configure, deploy, manage, and maintain large cloud-hosted systems; including auto-scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery
Ability to dig deep, debug and troubleshoot problems on distributed systems
Being a great listener, collaborator, communicator, and mentor
Championing a culture and work environment that promotes diversity and inclusion
Ambitious and talented individual who wants to work as part of a collaborative engineering team
Knowledge of best engineering practices around building high-performance, reliable, and scalable applications
Knowledge about cloud security and best practices
Experience designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
Experience with full-stack development
A strong background in open source technologies
