Division Information
PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.
Requisition Summary
The Manager, Information Security, needs to be a highly motivated, results-oriented professional who will be responsible for managing information security professionals for PACCAR. This role will manage the teams responsible for conducting risk assessments, security exception request tracking, security awareness training, breach / attack investigations, litigation data collection support, forensics analysis and more. The manager will be responsible for managing the work load and priorities of the teams, helping establish strategy and providing direction and managing to a budget. Reports to the Chief Information Security Officer. While the role is for the North American based team, the manager will work with the European team and identified Security Liaisons located at all PACCAR divisions.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Manages IT resources, both financial and personnel, to best achieve the company’s information security needs and objectives.
Supervise and manage the Information Security team
Leads investigations and participates in incident response needs
Negotiates contracts and agreements (pricing, SLA’s, SOW’s, etc.)
Transforms business requirements into system specifications.
Provides analysis and consulting on:
Standards and Policies
Breach / Attack Investigations
Network Solutions & Security
Data Security and Access Controls
Internal and Third Party Risk Assessments
Standardized Security Metrics
Acts on the Behalf of the CISO as Required
Provides professional presentation of metrics and reporting
Qualifications
3+ years of management experience required.
3+ years Tier 3 work experience in information technology strongly desired.
Security related industry certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+ or MCSA preferred.
Masters or MBA preferred.
Strong Leadership skills and critical problem solving skills
Demonstrated leadership with the ability to function independently and set direction for PACCAR.
Ability to provide analytical and rational views related to risk vs business need.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical and negotiating skills.
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge in security information analysis and understanding of security technologies.
ITIL Principles (Change Management, Problem Management, Incident Management, etc.)
Prior experience related to risk assessment and / or threat modelling a plus.
Demonstrated experience leading large projects.

Education
- 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration field or other with associated work experience required.
