FieldCore QA/QC Supervisor in Remote, Iraq

Role Summary/Purpose

The Field Quality Specialist will perform the Quality Audits on Critical Procedures and during the planning and the outage execution; encourage outage team to open the Non Conformity Reports (NCRs) and capture the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ); support and guide the Problem Solving Analysis, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (pFMEA), Lean Outage Work Out (LAWO), Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) and Quality Control Plans (QCP) in order to ensure the services are meeting the quality assurance program, customer requirements, engineering specifications and appropriate regulatory standards.

This position will work closely with Supervisors, EHS personnel, and the Crafts located at Power Plants, he or she will report directly to to the Field Quality Manager.

Essential Function

  • Participate in the preparation of the Quality Audit Plan Calender aligned with the Outage Plan;

  • Perform the Quality Audits as planned 3Mos, 1Mo before the Outage and during Execution;

  • Open the Audit Non Conformances, Findings, as needed in the Quality Management System;

  • Participate as Quality representative of the pFMEA and LAWO sessions;

  • Support the QCP elaboration and assure its implementation;

  • Follow up the QCP and ensure that actions proposed in the pFMEA to prevent risks are implemented;

  • Provide coaching on FME plan implementation;

  • Review the conformance of FieldCore Quality Management System, including but not limited to:

  • Quality Policy and Manual

  • Global Critical Procedures & Processes

  • Global Work Instructions

  • Field Services Critical Processes Work Instructions

  • Assure the Product & Service Non Conformity Reports (NCR) is opened in accordance to the Global Procedure;

  • Support the RCA process for the outages severe events he/she is assigned to.

  • Assure the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) is capture in accordance to the Global Cost of Poor Quality Procedure;

  • Support the outage team to solve Non-Conformances in the Quality Management System;

  • Attend the daily customer meeting, as needed, to address any quality topics that may arise.

  • Report the status of Quality Topics to the appropriate stakeholders;

  • Support the Customer's Feedback process, analyze customer responses and lead the corrective & preventive actions as needed.

Qualifications /Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical subject or equivalent from an accredited school or institution;

  • Very good experience at Installation & Service activities, preferably in the Power Plant or Oil & Gas industry;

  • Very good experience in Quality Tools, such as, FMEA, PDCA, OFE (Human Error Prevention);

  • Very good experience in Quality Audits and Quality Management System;

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.

  • Good level of English, written, spoken and reading;

  • Good level in computer skills;

  • Good level of technical skills;

  • Good communication skills;

  • Able to drive and travel;

  • Flexible, self-reliant attitude and ability to work with minimum supervision is necessary;

  • Expert skills on the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures for field activities;

  • Mechanical and Electrical skills (welding, pipe-fitting, instrumentation, digital circuits);

  • Solid background in turbine-generator equipment, as well as auxiliary sub-systems;

  • Inspection and Tests skills (Dimensional, Non Destructive, Buroscopy, Vibration) ;

  • Certificated in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Green Belt preferred
