CACI International ServiceNow Quality Assurance Tester in Remote (Any State), Virginia

Job Description

CACI is currently looking for a ServiceNow Tester with agile methodology experience to join our team. You will be directly contributing to the implementation and development initiatives for the ServiceNow platform. As a ServiceNow Tester, you will be a key member of the development team driving the quality of products and services to our clients. The ServiceNow Tester is responsible for developing and directing preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. This role will coordinate integrated testing activities and evaluate test requirements.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Execute unit/component test procedures, create, and execute integration test procedures, execute regression tests, coordinate and execute user acceptance testing, and create and functional completeness.

  • Support current production system break/fix and enhancement efforts to include requirements review, test formulation, test scenario preparation, test execution, and test summary preparation.

  • Participate in sprint planning and work with the project team to identify risks/impacts in the system to be tested.

  • Ability to perform requirement analysis and work independently to create technical artifacts for test plans, test cases, and test reports.

  • Accurately estimate testing efforts for project planning and tracking and provide input to project(s) master schedule.

  • Monitor defects so that they progress a timely manner and adhere to the defect tracking process/standards and ensure they are adequately retested when fixed.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experience with the ServiceNow Platform.

  • Knowledge of setting up test environments, executing test cases, and tracking defects.

  • Knowledge of component, application, integration, and performance testing procedures and criteria.

  • Knowledge in defining acceptance criteria and coordinating and executing acceptance testing.

  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle.

  • Experience in developing artifacts required during the SDLC.

  • Experience with creating and executing test plans and procedures and documenting the expected and actual results.

  • Experience working in an agile development environment (i.e., scrum, Kanban, etc.).

  • Knowledge of requirements traceability.

  • Experience working with multiple teams and/ or balancing multiple competing priorities.

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to start, develop, and complete short and long term projects.

  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in the implementation of project specifications and design requirements.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Undergraduate Degree Required.

  • US Citizen.

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • \Understanding of Understanding of automated testing tools to include HP Quality Center, QuickTest Professional (QTP), LoadRunner, etc.​ as well as automation best practices.

  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).

  • Experience with Business Rules Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system.

  • Experience with utilizing Angular.JS, JavaScript, SQL and related technologies for ServiceNow development.

  • Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification or ability to obtain a CSA certification.

  • Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITIL, CSM, or similar).
