We are looking for a Senior Development Manager with excellent technical skills and outstanding customer focus to be part of the development team focusing on User, Role Provisioning and Security – key components that are pervasive across the broader Fusion Applications. Key Responsibilities: + Collaborate with key stakeholders in Product Development, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Release, Documentation and Support + To design, develop and deliver new features + To address ongoing maintenance of the existing features + Manage/Mentor/Provide technical and functional guidance to engineers with expertise in Java, J2EE, Sql and technologies like ADF, REST services, ESS, SOA, BPEL, and BI Publisher. + Active ownership for the team's code quality and customer orientation - hold a high bar for self and the team when it comes to code quality and customer orientation. + Collaborate effectively with the underlying technology stack teams for delivery of new features and ongoing maintenance. Required Qualifications and Skills: + Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline. + 8 years’ experience (including 2 years managerial experience) in design and development of enterprise business application software – preferably SaaS application software. + Strong and hands-on technical expertise in Java, J2EE, Sql and preferably technologies like ADF, REST services, ESS, SOA, BPEL and BI Publisher. + Experience in Identity Management/Security domain, DB performance tuning, Elastic Search highly desirable. + Experience in abstracting functional requirements, designing, architecting and developing high performance scalable applications. + Strong collaboration, consensus building and proficiency in cross-team engagements. + Outstanding customer focus – Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Detailed Description and Job Requirements Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture. Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development.
