Northrop Grumman Mgr Supply Chain Programs 2 - Clearance Required in Redondo Beach, California

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals in the GSC Programs organization. This position will be located in the Space Park campus in Redondo Beach, CA.

The selected individual will be joining the F-35 Global Supply Chain Program Management team. Job responsibilities include

  • Lead the Supply Chain Program execution on the Sustainment, Spares, and Support Equipment IPTs

  • Serve as the primary focal point to the Program Management Office relative to Sustainment, Spares, and Support Equipment discussions

  • Interface with the entire supply chain and coordinate cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met

  • Identify risks, issues and opportunities associated with executing spares, repairs, and support equipment content

  • Develop and manage mitigation plans associated with aforementioned risks, issues, and opportunities

  • Accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, supplier performance, make/buy plans, procurement strategies, and supply chain issue resolution

  • Actively lead/participate with the strategy, planning, proposal generation, and execution of all material and services content associated with sustainment and support equipment contracts

  • Brief the PMO and GSC executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance

  • Participation in identifying and/or leading affordability projects specific to sustainment, spares, and support equipment material

  • Functional management responsibility to lead, manage, develop, and grow future talent

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Project Management; 3 years with a Master's degree

  • Prior experience leading a team/process/project

  • Active DOD Secret security clearance or higher

  • Cost Account Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP experience

  • Subcontracts and/or procurement experience

  • Earned value management certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR Knowledge of Earned Value Management
