The Secure Admin Services organization, within Digital Security and Resilience, is looking for an experienced engineer to architect, design and build security solutions for protecting Microsoft assets and managing high privileged identities. The successful candidate should have deep understanding of directory services (ex: Active Directory), proven software development experience, ability to translate business problems into technical requirements and solutions, and most importantly, customer obsession and passion for customer experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership to a cross-functional engineering and operations team.

  • Define what is technically needed to meet strategic objectives, and transform requirements and functional specs into solution design.

  • Develop solutions using managed code to meet design specification and deliver them on time and per plan.

  • Design, develop, and configure end-to-end service telemetry, alerting, and self-healing capabilities for offered services.

  • Conduct testing and code reviews to ensure quality code is released to production systems.

  • Build functional and technical documentation.

  • Identify and triage bugs, and develop fixes to code defects.

  • Remain current on new technologies, methods and procedures including, but not limited to, coding practices such as Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment.

  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and executive management

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 5 years full stack .net development experience (cloud experience is preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hand on experience with Active Directory, SQL Server, Workflow Foundation

  • Basic understanding of application containerization and Microservices architecture

  • Basic understanding of networking and Windows infrastructure services

  • Extensive troubleshooting/debugging skills
