Microsoft Corporation Change Management Program Manager, Global Pursuit Organization, MCS in Redmond, Washington

The Global Pursuit Organization plays a pivotal role in landing MCS Strategy with customers and enabling the continuing Digital Transformation.

The Global Pursuit Organization (GPO) is seeking a proactive and self-driven Change Management Program Manager to lead change management, enablement, readiness, and community engagement across the worldwide teams. This program management role is a reporting to the GPO Leader and will be responsible for defining, orchestrating the implementation of changes within the Global Pursuit Organization, influencing change through awareness and partnership in key stakeholder communities. You will need to work in close partnership with the Pursuit Leadership Team (LT), management teams, the Pursuit Lead community and supporting teams within worldwide MCS. You will help optimize the Global Pursuit Organization by applying change management, communication skills, build and execute readiness strategies, drive the communities, and align with the broader MCS stakeholder teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop process, tool, and reporting improvements by collaborating with MCS stakeholders that allow MCS to simplify the approach to drive pipeline for our USD MCS business.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of change impacts within the Global Pursuit Organization to identify key stakeholders, their concerns, and risks related adoption strategies.

  • Plan and execute Change Management for the Global Pursuit Organization through effective communication, training, community engagement and stakeholder alignment.

  • Build and execute readiness strategies to build skills and competence for the GPO teams.

  • Work with GPO and MCS communication teams to develop targeted communication plans.

  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships and feedback channels to foster continuous improvements throughout the change lifecycle.

  • Apply Prosci or other Change Management frameworks to grow the organizational aptitude for managing change.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in a change management or program management capacity.

  • Strong understanding of presales and deal pursuit

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively influence across a dynamic global organization.

  • Experience working in distributed virtual teams.

  • Demonstrated collaboration and negotiation skills that result in positive outcomes for multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and to manage through ambiguous scenarios, as needed.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Fluent English language abilities as well as excellent presentation skills

  • BS/BA degree; MBA or an advanced degree, preferred.

  • Prosci Change Management Certification, a plus.

Location/Travel: You may be based anywhere in the Americas or EMEA. You can expect global travel to range between 0 -25%, contingent upon Covid-19 restrictions.
