Dewberry Roadway Drainage Engineer in Raleigh, North Carolina
Dewberry is seeking a Roadway Drainage Engineer for our growing Raleigh or Charlotte, NC office. This is an excellent career opportunity to join a top Transportation Design firm. In this role you will develop drainage designs for NCDOT and local municipal transportation projects. Individual will be responsible for design work, calculations, reports and permit drawings.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
4-10 years of water resources experience related to design.
North Carolina PE license is strongly preferred.
Experience and competency levels in roadway drainage design, stormwater best management practices, and hydraulic modeling of bridges and culverts.
Experience with NCDOT hydraulics desired including; preliminary design reports, GEOPAK Drainage, BSR/CSR preparation, MOA submittal preparation, permit drawings, and erosion and sediment control plans.
Strong Knowledge of computer programs such as MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, HEC-RAS, HY-8, FHWA Hydraulic Toolbox, and FlowMaster.
