Sirius Computer Solutions Regional Security Services Managing Consultant in Raleigh, North Carolina


Position Summary:

The Regional Security Services Managing Consultant (RSSMC) is responsible for attainment of Security Services booked revenue targets in their assigned geographic region. The RSSM works in a cross-functional capacity to support Security deals from Opportunity through project delivery. This role reports directly to the Regional Security Senior Director and has a dotted-line relationship with the Client Engagement and Services Delivery teams.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Sales Leadership:

  • Focal point for Client Executives, District Sales General Managers, and Solution Architects within the region to:

  • Maximize efficiency of the sales process for Security Services, such as managing Cases, facilitating pricing, and monitoring SOW status,

  • Create SOWs for non-custom deals

  • Provide ONE business day turnaround for SOWs less than $100K

  • Escalation point for opportunities that are complex (multi-LOB), approaching SLA thresholds, or have urgent delivery requirements.

  • Provides leadership that results in the achievement of all assigned business objectives and ensures high client satisfaction.

  • Works with Security leadership to ensure regional pursuit and GTM efforts maximize practice profitability.

  • Develops customer relationships, implements sales and marketing programs, and compiles/analyzes competitive information.


  • Works with Services Delivery team on project staffing.

  • Provides oversight for projects at key accounts within the region .

  • Removes barriers to successful project delivery and serves as a point of real-time escalation to address delivery quality issues.

  • Provides feedback on an ongoing basis to Services Delivery to ensure quality delivery on the part of consultants.

Regional Planning:

  • Works with Regional & Security leadership to create, maintain, and execute a joint business plan that includes solution and manufacturer technology mapping to relevant. solution sets for assigned geography.

Resource Management:

  • Assists with growing the Services Delivery team that supports the region, including interviewing candidates, onboarding new hires and ongoing coaching.

  • Manages portfolio of approved sub-contractors within the region to ensure timely turn-around and competitive pricing of relevant SOWs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business or a related field.

  • Proven experience in Security Presales and/or Services Delivery with a VAR or Professional Services firm.

  • At least five (5) years of technical pre-sales or IT professional services work experience, including:

  • Partner management

  • Business/Financial management

  • At least 3 years of technical leadership or management experience

  • Proven track record of accomplishments and results within an infrastructure presales career.

  • Proven ability to lead complex solution qualification and justification efforts

  • Results oriented, with the demonstrated ability to work independently and show sound business judgment.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions in high-pressure, often ambiguous environments

  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict

  • Demonstrated ability to drive successful technical sales efforts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant pre-sales and technical certifications

  • MBA

Data Privacy and Security:

Essential Functions

The position exists to ensure the smooth and rapid movement of Security Services deals from identification to SOW creation, including pricing, staffing and ensuring quality delivery. As such, it requires the ability to travel to and from customer sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis.
