Job Description

The Future Talent Program features Cooperative (Co-op) education that lasts up to 6 months and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals

This position is within the Quality Management System (QMS) Team in the Center for Observational & Real-World Evidence (CORE) department that resides within our Company. The QMS Team is responsible for SOPs, Audits and Issue Management as it relates to scientific, observational, and epidemiologic research.

The position supports the quality management of the scientific, observational, and epidemiologic research that our company produces. The position will entail supporting several internal quality initiatives related to SOPs, audits, and issues management, and generation of metrics and data visualizations with the goal of communicating the current state of the CORE QMS to applicable stakeholders and CORE Leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage timelines/track deliverables and facilitate meetings and overall project management.

  • Assist in the development of quality metrics, analyze trends, and prepare reports utilizing visualization methods.

  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis of metrics through various reporting components.

  • Drive efficiencies for the Quality Management Systems (QMS) team through automation and reporting of data.

  • Assist with the development of IT systems and solutions to support the CORE QMS.

  • Track timelines/deliverables and follow up on action items/CAPAs for audits, inspections, significant quality issues and quality control assessments.

  • Participate in process improvements to ensure CORE studies/projects operate according to CORE required processes and standards.

  • Additional projects may be added depending on the time/scope/availability

Required Education and Experience:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in a field related to public health, epidemiology, outcomes research, or a related field.

  • Candidates must be available to work full-time for up to (6) months beginning in mid-2021.

  • Candidates must have a background in public health, epidemiologic, clinical and/or outcomes research.

  • Candidates must have experience in analyzing metrics and visualization and presentation of data in PowerPoint format and dashboards is required.

  • Candidates must be residing within the 50 US states (or Washington, DC) during the entirety of the assignment if working remotely.
