General Purpose of Job

This position will act as a resource to internal and external stakeholders on initiatives related to Life In-force Optimization along with many aspects of Core Life product development and launch. As part of the Business Development team s/he will provide technical product information and training to support product roll-outs, with the goal of increasing profitable sales. S/he will collaborate with stakeholders to develop communications and collateral for new products and product updates.

Duties and Responsibilities

Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Collaborates with appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure product messaging is aligned with business priorities and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.

Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Creates actionable plans that support In-force Optimization campaigns as well as product development and implementation in the launch of new products/riders/services for the business line.

Develops and maintains relationships with key internal partners through participation in workgroups, advisory committees, Ready-to-Sell meetings and presentations.

Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Implements new product and/or product updates in communications, including memos, technical product documentation, fact sheets, and other collateral materials.

Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

Proposes solutions on more complex product-related issues by applying product and organizational knowledge.

Provides product illustration systems support and testing.

Provides technical input and review of marketing materials, contracts, and prospectus language.

Provides technical product information to guide content in marketing materials, contract and prospectus language, and reviews final content and language for accuracy.

Provides technical product support during training and product rollouts by explaining In-force Optimization campaigns and other product design concepts and features.

Reviews and tracks application and illustration activity post-launch and identifies trends and/or training needs.

Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.

Works closely with key stakeholders to anticipate and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks. Sets project priorities to meet deadlines and departmental goals.

Writes letters and memos to clients requesting confirmations from the product team regarding policy illustrations.

Strong project management skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.

Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.

Well rounded analytical and computer skills.

Education

4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required

Certifications

FINRA SERIES 6 may be required for Inforce and New Business -180 Days

Experience

3 - 5+ Years Experience in the financial service/insurance industries with exposure to product development and implementation. (Required ),3 - 5+ Years Of Customer Service, Sales or Product Development experience with integral knowledge of life insurance products. (Required )

FINRA Series 6 Required or must be obtained within 180 days
