The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Financial Analyst based out of Puyallup, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partners closely with business unit leadership, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business Operations, and Industrial Engineering to develop and maintain the financial forecast for Skin and Spar

  • Makes recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience

  • Develops, reviews, analyzes, and maintains resource forecasts, compiling information from multiple sources, and supports performance reporting against financial baselines

  • Initiates variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management

  • Problem-solves and troubleshoots process and tool issues, determines root cause and recommends solutions

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience developing resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools

  • Experience developing presentations and presenting financial information to various levels of management

  • Experience in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years supporting the integration and analysis of resource forecasting and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, and financial forecasts

  • 1+ years developing supplier or material resource forecasts

  • Familiarity with Cognos and/ or SAP

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
