DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for conducting product characterization analyses using a number of Finite element and Finite difference based engineering software packages. Works with Application and Product Design Engineers.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience of
relevant work experience
REQUIREMENTS: Follow drafting standards and guidelines, with minimal direction.
Ability to read and understand various drawings and prints.
Ability to create part drawings in the appropriate format.
Ability of complete dimensioning of parts following approved drafting conventions.
Develop designs with assistance from Product Engineers and more experienced designers.
Complete drawing assignments efficiently and accurately.
Organize a variety of work assignments, and determine the most efficient way of getting them done.
Data & Document /Revision control.
Working with the engineer to support the plants to resolve print problems.
Translate drawings between available formats after initial instruction.
Ability to perform necessary tasks to complete change requests and new business entries.Including thorough knowledge and understanding of related processes and procedures.
Support product engineers and process specialist/engineers on design, process, quality, manufacturing, and customer issues as needed.
Maintaining all drafting related supplies required.
Understand and follow design group workflow, including tasks required to complete drawing changes and new part introductions.Follow departmental procedures for filing electronic files, formatting drawings, etc.
Develop 3D models as required.
Each employee has the authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to the product, process and quality system and has the authority to stop further work on non-conforming suspect product until the deficiency or conditions have been corrected.

EDUCATION: Minimum Graduate Mechanical Engineer ,
Associate Qualification in Computer Aided Design is preferred. is preferred.
