What does a great CRM Functional Solutions Consultant do?

Fiserv’s market-leading financial services CRM solution leverages Microsoft’s highly acclaimed Dynamics platform to meet the specialized sales, service, and marketing requirements of consumer and business banking. This innovative Fiserv solution enables financial institutions to deliver superior customer experience and consistently execute their sales and customer relationship strategies.
As a CRM Solutions Consultant, you will be a key player in professional services engagements for client implementations, upgrades, data migrations, conversions, integrations, and more. You’ll apply expert knowledge of the Fiserv CRM solution and the Microsoft Dynamics platform while advising clients about CRM best practices in multiple areas, including sales, service, and marketing. You will lead discovery sessions to gather requirements, facilitate data and system integration sessions, migration and conversion planning, system testing, training workshops, and user adoption best practices.
As a CRM Solutions Consultant, you can look forward to:
Acting as the client-facing subject matter expert for simple to complex engagements (implementations, upgrades, data migrations and conversions, system integrations, and more) from program initiation to go-live
Facilitating discovery sessions with clients to understand and document business, data, and functional requirements (current and future state)
Lead data design sessions with internal teams and clients
Create data specifications and data model diagrams
Perform detailed data analysis and data mapping to support import, integration, analytics and reporting
Define and facilitate data validation and test plans for data processes
Coordinate with technical team to deliver and configure client-specific configurations and solution updates
Provide client support and best practices during engagements, including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving data and system issues
Provide training to client power users on system features and data processes relevant to their deployment
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years technology and business consulting experience in the financial services industry
5+ years of demonstrable experience with data requirements and analysis, data migrations and mapping, and reporting
3+ years’ experience implementing enterprise cloud-based CRM solutions for banks/credit unions
5+ years of working experience with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365 or other CRM platform (Salesforce)
Solid understanding of data models, data mining and segmentation techniques
Polished and professional verbal and written communication skills
Extensive experience with data and systems integration across multiple systems
Proficiency with Microsoft tools/products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint
Flexibility to work after hours/on-call/weekends for planned project milestones and key events
Travel up to 30% (Post COVID)
Certifications in Dynamics CRM (preferred) or related technologies
Microsoft Power Platform experience
Experience with MS Project and Visio
