Princeton Community Hospital RN Staff in Princeton, West Virginia


  • The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. Ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards of care. Demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.


  • Formal Education and Certifications


  • Current professional licensure in the State of West Virginia, or multistate license as a Registered Nurse

  • CPR (if CPR is not current on hire or will expire during department orientation, staff must attend the next available CPR class after hire)


  • EKG

  • ACLS

  • Crisis Intervention Class

  • IV/Central Line

  • Face-to-Face RN Training for Restraints

  • Oncology Certification

  • Knowledge and Experience


  • Basic computer skills

  • Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served, or obtained within probationary period

  • Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients’ rights in the delivery of care
