Position Responsibilities
Align with subject matter experts, including system architects,project and program managers, procurement and sourcing and financial managersto obtain critical information required for the management of Software and SaaS
Maintain a consolidated view of the Software and SaaS portfoliowith views to track demand and status, as well as risks and issues globally
Manage licensing with responsible parties to ensure usages andactive users are properly aligned to contract requirements and that supportingdocumentation and reporting is provided
Manage data rights within contract agreements to ensureappropriate protections are defined
Develop reports that pull data from various sources showingSoftware and SaaS utilization, trends and potential savings opportunities
In collaboration with Global Procurement, drive decisionsregarding Software and SaaS manufacturers selections and negotiate favorableterms for BMS ensuring contracts are executed in alignment with new process,are compliant and properly coded for tracking & reporting
In collaboration with Finance & Tax department, properlyidentify and align fees & spend by benefitting state and country for Taxpurposes
Develop effective training materials, educate & provideongoing support to key stakeholders and process users
Develop communications for Software and SaaS capabilities forthe general BMS community
Desired Experience Qualifications and
Experiences:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline. MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
10+ years of SAM experience with either Flexera, ServiceNow SAM Pro or other SAM Tools
Knowledge of discovery tools including SCCM, Altiris, ServiceNow, Flexera
Knowledge of a regulated operating environment
Experience in leading software audits
Understanding of contractual terms and conditions in software and SaaS agreements
Knowledge of Software and SaaS principals and best practices, industry standards, tools & technology
Knowledge of usage metrics for key Software and SaaS providers such as Microsoft (Office 365), Red Hat, Adobe, Oracle, SAP, SAS institute, IBM, Tableau.. Etc.
Technical knowledge of PC’s and servers, SQL queries and Python/Pearl/Shell or other scripting languages to collect and manipulate data is preferred.

Strong communicator via all media: collaboration technologies (SharePoint, Teams, etc.) and presentations written, emails, verbal – with a wide variety of audiences
Skilled communicator who influences and negotiates with great latitude on various outcomes for an entire Business/Segment/Function internally and externally
Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving skills, including the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information
Ability to influence in a matrix environment
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with employees and management at all levels.
