ISMG - Information Security Media Group Program Director in Princeton, New Jersey

ISMG is currently seeking a Program Director to join our Global Summit Events (https://events.ismg.io/) team. This person will be responsible for the execution of creating event agendas along with recruiting appropriate executive level speakers for 20+ global events annually. This senior position within the events team will have a deep history in the cybersecurity, fraud, and/or risk space with knowledge spanning across all industries and verticals. Preferably this candidate will also have pre-existing relationships to leverage as future event speakers.

ISMG offers news, views, research, education/training, and events on the cybersecurity industry?s top topics faced by professionals in the space today! With 14 brands, 33 digital media properties, over 250 events annually, and a global audience of over 950,000 subscribers we are providing cybersecurity coverage across a multitude of industries and regions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create & structure agendas for ISMG?s Global Summits. Developing content related to top cybersecurity & technology topics that are most relevant to security leaders across all global sectors and regions.

  • Recruit C-suite and senior executives to speak at ISMG events as well as be a part of ISMG?s CyberEdBoard.

  • Formulate a story, using the most pressing topics in the industry that will resonate with ISMG attendees comprising primarily senior level security practitioners.

  • Understand the global markets in the security space in order to create an agenda that is appropriate within the city/region/country each event is focused on.

  • Strategically targeting appropriate speakers to coincide with the agenda for each Summit and the corresponding topics and sessions.

  • Work individually with community members, program managers, and community managers to ensure appropriate topics, sourcing, and execution of content.

  • Leverage social media platforms and networks, including LinkedIn and Twitter, to promote ISMG (and ISMG subsidiaries or brands) summit content to help expand and grow the business.

  • Manage and moderate educational sessions on stage or digitally at ISMG Global Summits.

  • Collaborate with the Global Summit team regarding onboarding, content review calls and scheduling in conjunction with ISMG Global Editorial team.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • At least a Bachelor?s Degree or higher.

  • 10+ years of experience in agenda or content development/creation and events.

  • Must possess outstanding communication, analytical and organizational skills paired with a creative mindset.

  • Excellent understanding of business leaders? issues and information needs.

  • Ability to take initiative, self-start, and prioritize tasks while being flexible to a changing work environment.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines.
