Serco Scheduling Analyst II in Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Assists with and provides input to the design, development and maintenance of detailed schedules for implementation, developmental and operational systems. Provides advanced analytical support to operational team. May serve as a technical/scientific resource on project, updating project management models and forecasts, and developing detailed schedules using MS Project. Assists in keeping schedule current using automated tools and weekly on-site US Navy ship visits. Modifies schedule as appropriate and maintains status on linkages and dependencies with related projects. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a supervisor.
Requires a High school diploma.Must have experience in5,000 hours spent in the specialized area professional project scheduling within the last five consecutive years degree or a Bachelor of Science degree with 3,500 hours spent in the specialized area of professional project management or Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI PMI-SP certification through the PMI institute
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Working both in office or onsite at the naval base
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Personnel qualifying for this position shall have demonstrated experience with the following:

Project management information systems
Schedule documentation and reporting techniques
Scheduling data management procedures (for example, archiving, storage, retrieval)
Scheduling methods (for example, critical path method, critical chain, linear, agile)
Scheduling techniques (for example, resource leveling, schedule compression, simulation)
Quantitative and qualitative schedule analysis (for example, schedule performance index, baseline execution index, float analysis)
