Beyond Inc. Outside Sales Executive – LIFETIME RESIDUALS in Portland, Oregon

Beyond ( is seeking an experienced outside sales professional who has payments or payroll experience and strong telemarketing skills. You must be the type of individual that enjoys working with other high performers and craves the challenge of closing deals. The Business Advocate is a W2 position that offers the ability to earn large weekly payouts based on your efforts and successes, while also building a longterm compounding residual stream.

In addition, every Beyond employee hired this year will have the opportunity to own part of the company. The Business Advocate is the heartbeat of our organization and works closely with the Division Director to provide point-of-sale, payment processing, lending, payroll, and integrated HR tools & services to small and mid-size business owners.

What You Will Do

  • Grow your portfolio by full cycle sales, prospecting through closing and follow up, to new small and mid-sized businesses

  • Must have payments or payroll processing sales experience and strong telemarketing skills

  • Prospect through outreach emails, phone-calls, social media, and face-to-face meetings

  • Deliver solution driven presentations to business partners

  • Educate business partners on the payment processing industry

  • Organize your day and week around competing demands

  • Meet or exceed expected monthly and quarterly sales milestones

  • Work closely with local Team Lead and Division Director for prospecting, training, and development

  • Accurately track and record activities in Salesforce

  • Be a positive contributor to the organization

  • Nurture and qualify new leads that turn into quality appointments

  • Join local networking groups to build your brand

  • Maintain consistent attention to detail, self-discipline, and grit

Who You Are

  • Proven sales professional, 3+ years’ experience

  • Knowledge of the company’s products, services, and business operations

  • Advanced presentation, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Ability to solve problems and find creative solutions to sales challenges

  • Desire to excel and grow within the organization

  • Salesforce CRM experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision

  • Multilingual candidates are a plus

The Personal Data that Beyond collects

Depending on your relationship to Beyond, we may collect the following Personal Data about you:

  • Your gender;

  • Your race or ethnicity;

  • Your nationality;

  • Your bank details;

  • Your governmental identification numbers;

  • Information relating to your health;

  • Information relating to your benefits, including pension and tuition assistance;

  • Information relating to your tax status;

  • Your educational history and qualifications;

  • Your employment history;

  • Information relating to your performance;

  • Your compensation and bonus history;

  • Information relating to your employee reimbursements;

  • Information relating to your travel arrangements;

  • Premises security information, which may include access logs and CCTV footage;

  • Information relating to your use of Beyond’s technology, information and communications systems, including but not limited to email and IM applications, internet usage, and Beyond issued mobile phones and devices;

  • Information relating to your family and next of kin.

    In addition to Personal Data that you provide to Beyond, Beyond may obtain Personal Data about you from others, including third-party databases in the course of performing background checks as well as previous employers and others during the onboarding process.

    Why Beyond uses your Personal Data

    In addition to instances in which you provide your consent to Beyond, Beyond may use your information for one or more of the following purposes:

  • performance of any of Beyond’s obligations under your partnership, employment or other agreement;

  • compliance with any of Beyond’s legal or regulatory obligations (including remuneration, payroll, insurance and any other benefits, as well as taxes and other statutory schemes); and

  • for a business purpose of Beyond, including evaluating candidates and employees in connection with hiring and promotion decisions, communicating with you regarding the same, retaining applications of unsuccessful applicants in the form of a “talent pool” database, administering Beyond’s sickness and working time policies, investigating any alleged acts or defaults of yours or another employee’s, complying with Beyond policies, maintaining security, management forecasting or planning.

  • when necessary for reasons of substantial public interest, for example for equal opportunities monitoring or in relation to an occupational pension scheme;

  • where the use is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;

  • where the use is necessary for the purposes of preventative or occupational medicine, for the assessment of your working capacity, medical diagnosis, the provision of health or social care or treatment pursuant to a contract with a health professional;

    If you fail to provide Personal Data

    If you fail to provide certain Personal Data when requested, Beyond may not be able to perform the contract that it has entered into with you (such as paying you or providing a benefit), or may be prevented from complying with our legal obligations (such as to ensure the health and safety of our workers).
