Coastal Home Care Developmental Disabilities Professional in Pooler, Georgia
At Help at Home, formerly Coastal Home Care, the role of Developmental Disabilities Professional (DDP) is to be the primary person who relates to the individuals we serve who have an intellectual or developmental disability. The DDP gets to know the individuals and their families well because he/she is the one who helps design that person’s support plan.
The Developmental Disabilities Professional (DDP) coordinates and oversees the services of individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties include coordinating and monitoring all aspects of service by observing individuals, reviewing data and progress, and revising schedules as needed to meet goals. The DDP is present and participates in the development of all individual support plans and interventions and ensures that the organization is compliant with all state and federal rules and regulations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Health or similar field required.
High school diploma or GED.
3 or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Meet state DDP requirements.
Proficient in computer use.
Highly organized and attentive to detail.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
