Goken America UX Writer in Plymouth, Michigan
As a UX Writer - you will work with the brand, UX/UI and research teams to ensure that digital products’ layouts and copy work harmoniously together. This role will primarily focus on the e-commerce experience, but will also include vehicle, web and mobile applications.
Essential Duties: (This list is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned)
A deep understanding of UX and how copy and design support each other.
Use writing and editing skills that aids user navigation, onboarding, error states, instructions, and other components of the user experience.
Ability to assess analytics or user testing results to provide actionable improvements to the user experience.
An understanding of how localization of other languages impacts copy and layout.
Help drive voice and tone consistency across all of our digital platforms.
Comfortably switch context between multiple projects, including last-minute drills.
At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
An online portfolio showcasing your process and work.
Great communication skills and a history of teamwork and collaboration.
A strong attention to detail and highly collaborative nature.
Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
Experience in e-commerce is a plus.
Experience writing for multiple platforms (web, mobile app, HMI).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The job requires long periods of standing while training employees.
