Oracle CX-Staff Sales Consultant - Join-CX in Pleasanton, California

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

CX Solution Engineer – Upmarket High Tech – Manufacturing (HTM) Industry

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

The Customer Experience (CX) Solution Engineer is a presales solution resource that provides strategic direction and is a trusted advisor for upmarket clients in the HTM Industry. The ideal candidate will utilize past HTM industry knowledge (though HTM is not required) and thought leadership, in concert with Oracle Cloud CX products to facilitate transformational solutions and eliminate pain points for a client’s business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations and/or demonstrations using benchmarks; creating a persuasive point of view to educate clients thus closing the gap between the opportunity and the sale.

As a CX Solution Engineer, you will be the expert responsible for formulating and leading presales technical/functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Our team leverages expertise and knowledge from all our team members. Strong focus on building both internal and external business relationships. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle CX, presentations, and demonstrations to Upmarket clients in the HTM Industry. This would include crossing CX pillar presentation across Sales, Service, and Marketing Automation. Leads all aspects of the presales technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients by creating industry specific solutions that drive efficiencies and long-term business transformation.

You will take the lead as a CX content contributor, individually and as a part of the HTM Industry team, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in Customer Experience. 2 years of technical sales, presales, and/or solution engineering/consulting experience. Ideally 5 years of business experience with relevant information technology and cloud-based applications. Must possess the ability to discover, design, and develop solutions with complex/advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In-depth knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS competition, as well as current events related to the HTM Industry. Demonstrated project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed (up to 50% of the time). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, advanced Graduate degree highly desirable in a science or technical field.
