Kelly Services Patient Account Representative – Cash Posting in Plano, Texas

Pay Rate: Pay is $17-$18/hr.

Hours: Training hours will be 7:00am-3:30pm. After training, they will have flex time where they can start anytime between 7:00am-8:00am.

  • Be able to understand the cash posting process in how it works, working with bank deposits, working with lock box, EFTs/ERAs, etc.

  • Need to have an array of background in a healthcare setting with understanding of how payors pay companies, if they are short paid, how that works, etc.

  • Need to understand the difference between what a manual posting of a check looks like and what an electronic payment posting looks like.

  • Be able to understand how to read an EOB.

  • Under general supervision, post routine electronic and manual cash receipts, adjustments and denials, ensuring reconciliation of all posted data.

  • Balance electronic and manual cash receipts through the generation and analysis of necessary reports.

  • Resolving outstanding variances, errors and issues.

  • Refer to assigned work lists in the identification and resolution of routine transactions within the assigned function(s).

  • Perform all responsibilities in compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required

  • Must have good excel skills and data entry as it will be manual postings. Excel and 10 key assessments MUST be submitted with resume. Candidate needs over 8,000+ 10 key score to be considered.

  • Good computer skills with working knowledge of word processing spreadsheet and email applications.

  • Detail oriented with good analytical and organizational skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work cohesively within a team environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
