Description: Job Title : Manager, Talent Acquisition Job Code : AS20202005-45772 Job Location : Plano, TX

The Manager, Talent Acquisition will work with the Director, of Talent Acquisition and business leadership to develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy designed to create a strategic, diverse pipeline of talent while delivering high reliability, best-in-class results for on-going talent acquisition programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading a strategic, best in class, results based recruiting function, supporting all business functional areas within a dynamic high-tech business

  • Accountable for achieving established hiring goals and objectives

  • Implement progressive sourcing strategies, including networking, social media, professional associations and organizations to provide access to top tier engineering / technical candidates

  • Provide innovative insight and ideas for filling complex and hard to fill positions (executive, engineering, specialized skill sets)

  • Create a best in class talent acquisition team by providing ongoing development, mentoring, and learning experiences

  • Develop operational priorities that shape talent acquisition initiatives aligned with business planning

  • Develop effective working relationships with business leaders

  • Develop and implement diversity recruitment strategies

  • Design processes, communication systems that enhance the candidate experience

  • Continuously strive for process improvements and efficiencies

  • Plan, organize, and direct implementation of company policies

  • Ensure adherence to legal and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent education and work experience

  • Experience leading a team in a full life cycle recruitment process

  • Experience with a variety of recruitment marketing and sourcing techniques

  • Excellent communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s Degree

  • The ability to lead, direct and mentor a highly diverse and geographically disbursed team

  • Highly collaborative leadership style, capable of working across multiple functional areas to represent the recruiting function

  • Strong customer focus and ability to translate the needs of the business into recruiting actions

  • Very strong influencing skills with a variety of audiences including executive leadership

  • Strong project management skills; effective in managing competing demands

  • Experience with People Fluent preferred

  • Experience with multiple large, company-wide program implementations such as applicant tracking systems, new talent acquisition tools, or compliance processes

  • Experience using data analytics to support management of the recruiting function

  • Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with talent acquisition related HR practices and regulations such as OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs) definition of an internet applicant, Affirmative Action Plans, VEVRAA (Vietnam Era Veterans Re-Adjustment Act), etc..
