Abbott Analyst II, Product Performance Engineering in Plano, Texas

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Performance Engineering Analyst II within our Neuromodulation business located at Plano, Texas .

Major responsibilities include:

  • Performs investigation of non-returned product complaints and record findings into the Quality System

  • Conducts review of product labeling and manufacturing paperwork as necessary for complaint investigations

  • Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Product Performance Engineering Manager / Supervisor

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 2 plus years relevant experience supporting complaint handling investigations, medical device reporting, or product analysis.

  • Computer knowledge is essential (especially Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable industry regulations and follows company operating procedures, policies, and rules is essential.

  • Read and interpret Engineering drawings, product specifications, schematics, and procedure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Work cross-functionally with minimal supervision

  • Experience in a regulated industry is desirable

  • Knowledge of FDA quality systems regulations, QSR, and ISO 13485 desired

  • Data analysis knowledge is desirable
