Berkshire Health Systems 340(b) Analyst in Pittsfield, Massachusetts


  • The 340B Program Analyst will perform a variety of data analytics as they relate to the 340B program by leveraging data captures from internal and external sources. The 340B Program Analyst will transfer data into actionable business insight and collaborate with business partners to provide decision support. Some of the core functions of this role include optimization projects, auditing, aiding in program enhancement and reporting, examining purchasing and inventory, working with split-billing software, understanding systems information and analyzing data.

  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

  • Experience:

  • At least three years’ experience with general procedures/daily functions concerning patient care in a hospital and the pharmacy department required.

  • Administrative or data analysis experience required.

  • Experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting is mandatory.

  • Previous experience working with the 340B program required.

  • Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or five years’ analytical experience working with the 340B program; Master’s degree or Pharm D strongly preferred.

  • Completion of designated 340B trainings within one year of hire.

  • License, Certification & Registration:

  • PHARM TECH REG - Registered MA Pharmacy Tech.

  • CPhT preferred.

  • Other Requirements:

  • Must be a self-directed and work independently with limited supervision.

  • Possess strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

  • Have excellent communication and auditing skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing and be able to articulate complex ideas for all levels of audiences.

  • Must possess excellent client relationship management skills.

  • Must be a person who is open to new ideas; and a creative flexible individual who is comfortable working in a large complex organization.

  • Must be proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable with automated pharmacy information systems.
