CVS Health Healthcare Contract Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Description

CVS Health has a dynamic opportunity for a Contract Management Advisor to join our team. In this high impact position, you will collaborate closely with internal partners to ensure successful execution of client contracts after acceptance of PBM pricing offers, including overseeing all aspects of finalizing portions of client contracts associated with pricing and financial terms.

You will work closely with key internal partners, such as, Sales and Account Services, Underwriting, Legal, and Proposals and will occasionally engage with external clients, prospective clients, attorneys, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal partners to accurately and completely capture pricing and financial commitments as part of new PBM client contracts and amendments.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of PBM pricing strategies, definitions, and related information to represent the Underwriting team as part of the contracting process.

  • Provide consultation and recommendations in support of developing and executing on contracting strategy.

  • Maintain accountability for finalizing portions of PBM client contracts related to pricing and financial terms knowing when to self-approve and/or escalate items for further review.

  • Participate in external client negotiations as needed.

  • Ensure all financial terms are captured and cascaded to relevant internal partners for visibility, implementation, and ongoing support.

  • Assist with internal audit functions to ensure ongoing contract compliance.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and enhancements on an ongoing basis.

To be successful, you will utilize your strong contractual and financial analytical abilities. Proficiency with standard documentation tools such as Word and Powerpoint, as well as your proficiency with analysis tools such as Access, Excel and Tableau will be critical to your success.

Required Qualifications

  • 6 years work experience in Finance, Sales or Legal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior PBM Underwriting and/or health care contracting experience.

  • Existing PBM subject matter expertise.

  • MBA preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience may be considered.
