This position will be based remotely, US location preferred (Pittsburgh PA / Boston MA / Asheville NC/ Remote)
How will you make an impact?
The Laboratory Shaker Product Manager position will drive the enhancement of portfolio value through the development and management of new and existing products. This role reports to the Sr Product Manager - CO2 Incubation, and is responsible for overall product line strategy, profitable growth, and quality and productivity goals for the portfolio globally. The Product Manager shall assume responsibility for the effective positioning of the portfolio elements with an understanding of global market segments, competitive landscape and an emphasis upon the customer experience by working effectively with functional colleagues
What will you do?
Assume and demonstrate accountability for the business results of laboratory shakers globally
Continual validation of customer needs and VOC capture
Maintain ERP Master Data integrity
Develop key relationships with operations, supply chain and procurement colleagues
Support yearly pricing management activities
Support the commercial teams with training and technical support
Interact directly with customers as needed to maximize customer satisfaction
Work closely with R&D to deliver on product vision/viability and portfolio roadmap strategy
Support key business unit initiatives as required in:
New product development and existing product lifecycle management
Support strategic marketing activities and planning
Manage web and e-Commerce planning for specified products
Support Market intelligence acquisition and reporting
Developing targeted and measurable promotional tactics in conjunction with commercial management
How will you get here?
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in the following fields: Life Sciences, Marketing, Engineering, Business
Advanced degrees will be considered beneficial
Previous product management and global business experience recommended
Familiarity with life science research beneficial
2+ years of commercial experience helpful
Strong skills in data analytics software, CRM platforms and standard office applications
Demonstrated successes in new product introduction
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Proven time management and priority setting capabilities
Comfortable in ambiguous situations, and performing within matrixed environments
Effective communicator with excellent oral/written communications/presentation skills
Ability to conduct financial analyses, develop financial models and interpret P&L statements
Collaborative relationship builder with negotiation prowess
Results orientation, utilizing critical thinking to decisively achieve solutions
