Aerotech, Inc. Electronic Technician - Experienced in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Aerotech, Inc is currently hiring an Electronic Technician (Experienced) to work in our global headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.

Position Summary

The Electronic Technician will test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic components.

Essential Functions

  • Follows detailed instructions and procedures to conduct functional tests to evaluate electronic equipment

  • Reads and interprets schematic, assembly, and wiring diagrams

  • Adjusts and calibrates electronic equipment

  • Troubleshoots and repairs electronic equipment to the component level

  • Creates and maintains job tracking records

  • Consistently maintains acceptable levels of production according to established standards

  • Conducts functional tests on electro-mechanical systems to evaluate system performance under actual operation conditions

  • Analyzes and interprets test data

  • Prepares preliminary analysis reports

  • Troubleshoots and repairs electro-mechanical systems

  • Conducts functional test on prototype electro-mechanical systems and provides test data to engineering

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent

  • At least five years relevant experience

  • Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship. Aerotech does not provide U.S. work authorization sponsorship for this position. OPT and CPT visa holders are not eligible for employment if they will need work authorization sponsorship at any time in the future.
