PNC Digital Product Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Profile

Position Overview As a Digital Product Manager on the Digital Wealth and Investing Team, based in Pittsburgh, PA, you will be responsible for the support of various Digital Products which could include investments servicing in modern tech for the online channel, industry research, coordinate roll out activities, assisting with governance processes. You will work as product owner on a development team and will need to collaborate well with teams to drive an improved digital experience for these customers. You will work closely with experience designers, product owners, developers, scrum masters, line of business and other stakeholders, software service managers, and risk governance partners. Openness to learning new ways of working and new skills is a must and a reasonably strong understanding of technology development processes will be extremely beneficial.

For this role, the following background and experience is recommended:

  • A working understanding of the development, build, and deploy processes

  • Working experience in planning and executing projects

  • Basic experience collaborating with many different types of individuals and teams

  • Ability to communicate well with stakeholders

  • Basic experience navigating risk governance processes

  • Initiation of self-directed learning on new subject matter

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting the planning and execution of Digital Investing tools on

  • Being a capable and involved product owner for the development team(s)

  • Coordinating with other product owners to ensure a deliberate approach is being followed for all work occurring within the same codebase

  • Soliciting stakeholder input and communicating progress, challenges, and risks to stakeholders and other partners

Collaborating with technology partners, including software services managers, architects, and developers

  • Operates product management with a crew in an Agile framework

  • Involved in the complete product management cycle (design/development/testing/support)

  • Drives product prioritization and product roadmap

  • Provide product sales/analytics to stakeholders

Job Description

  • Supports the execution of digital strategy across business segments to optimize digital experience, leveraging design thinking and other best practices.

  • Completes basic analysis of digital experience, market trends, and third party requirements as necessary, in support of the development of new and existing digital experiences. May help in business case development.

  • Participates in and makes effective recommendations for the development and design of new and existing digital experiences. Supports in the management of the development, production, roll-out or promotion of digital experiences.

  • Executes customer focused quality assessments and improvement processes. As part of the first line of defense, supports risk management, compliance, and audit needs as necessary.

  • Monitors business results of recently introduced or existing digital experiences, coordinates reporting, and effectively recommends modifications to improve results.
