Data Management & Engineering is uniquely positioned within the Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain to build, optimize, & control JJSC’s data assets, enabling the business to optimize the value of its data more efficiently and effectively. DM&E is recruiting for a Sr. Analyst, DM&E that will provide oversight to DM&E portfolio of projects and keep the financial tracker of DM&E updated with the Strategy, Innovation, and Deployment organization.
Facilitate business requirements intake in support of projects requiring consolidated, standardized and/or harmonized data across systems, regions and/or segments.
Create a portfolio of all supply chain data projects and enhancements across segments.
Provide visibility to enhancements and project demand across the segments.
Develop and implement measurements and metrics which ensure the efficient and effective delivery of data services to the business.
Define and implement project and portfolio measurement strategy to ensure quantifiable benefits, which includes the definition and implementation of a post-project review with measurable actions and value case
Proactively analyze the project portfolio to find opportunities for enterprise-wide data solutions that will result in a measurable reduction in project/ongoing costs and/or improvement in solution effectiveness as measured by business outcomes
Provide coordination/collaboration with sector platform SMEs to understand data lineage, sourcing, and delivery of data to the business.
Partner with Data stewards to keep the portfolio current on project status and project financials.
Partner across DM&E organization and Finance teams to provide accurate financial information as it relates to Base Business and Projects
Builds relationships with key business and IT partners across the enterprise.
Identify and lead initiatives to improve data management capabilities and progress alongwith defined roadmaps.
Partner with communications lead on providing content and promoting awareness of SCDM capabilities and services
A minimum of bachelor’s degree is required.
Strong MS-Excel skills and presentation skills are required.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
5 years of experience and knowledge of data analysis and analytical techniques are preferred.
Process excellence, performance management, metrics reporting and/or data collection is preferred.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills are preferred.
Hands-on disciplined project and/or portfolio management skills are preferred.
Experience in establishing operational base business processes and SLAs, customer service and issue response environment is preferred.
Ability to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management effectively are preferred.
Ability to support shaping and executing data strategy while effectively collaborating with others under minimal direction/supervision is preferred
