We seek professionals with data engineering and integration experience to join our growing team. The Sr. Data Engineer will be responsible for building, deploying and supporting efficient data interchanges between systems and data pipelines from these systems to the data warehouse. Success of this position will be measured by delivery of effective data engineering and integration solutions while also being tightly aligned with Array Technologies' culture and core values.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and improve enterprise data assets that enable the growth of Array’s analytics, reporting and integration solutions.

  • Lead activities that include data integration process development and support.

  • Design and populate analytical models in the data warehouse

  • Support and maintain integration/ETL schedules.

  • Coordinate frequently with several support organizations and end users.

  • Identify project risks and impediments, notify management, and proactively work with other members of the team to complete assigned tasks as defined by project scope, timelines, and budgets.

  • Participate and lead discussion to elicit and refine requirements through an iterative process of planning, defining acceptance criteria, prioritizing, developing and delivering solutions.

  • Ensure that guiding principles and technology standards are followed

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or a combination of education and experience

  • 7+ years of experience in data integration, data warehouse, solution design, development, and implementation

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with leading data integration tools like Jitterbit, Informatica and Dell Boomi

  • Experience with building integration between Salesforce and SAP ECC or S4/HANA

  • Experience with modern data warehouse technologies like SAP HANA, Azure Synapse, AWS RedShift, Snowflake

  • Expertise with working with SQL, API and parsing JSON, XML, JavaScript, CSV, and fixed-width data formats

  • Familiar with the Kimball data warehousing techniques, standards and best practices. Experience with management of a star schema implementation and related concepts such as slowly changing dimensions

  • Broad IT operations experience, with emphasis on data solution delivery and support required

  • Experience with the use of SDLC methodologies in project delivery required
