Swift Transportation Safety Compliance Administrator in Phoenix, Arizona
Primary Purpose and Essential Functions: Administers and audits Safety and Compliance processes and procedures as set forth by the Safety Department to ensure DOT and FMCSR adherence.
Ensure rehire requalification measures and policy requirements are performed and current drug/alcohol screening requirements have been satisfied. Forward reinstatements toSafety for review and determine if additional department reviews are needed.
Receives and documents motorist road reports of safe and at-risk driver incidents.
Reconcile, approve, and process payments for invoices for pre-approved vendors that arise as a part of the pre-employment process for items such as recertifications, physicals, drug screens, etc.
Receives inbound calls on the safety phone line (ACD).
Research employment date discrepencies reported by Driver Facts or identified on line and make corrections as required.
Review Driver records to determine if/when safety award is due then coordinate with vendors to obtain the award.
Opens and routes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills: Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills; proficient with basic Microsoft Office suite; attention to detail; motivated; self-starter.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience Required: 6 months office experience.
