Frontdoor Process Improvement Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona

Position Overview

Responsible for business analysis and related process, system and modeling activities supporting the organization’s process quality initiatives and ongoing activities. Incorporates a service-oriented approach in order to establish process quality governance/best practices, execute sound analytics, evaluate processes, and recommend improvement opportunities. Completes professional documentation while meeting deadlines of competing priorities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides decision support through analytics as required by functional and senior leadership

  • Partners with departmental business clients to improve existing processes in order to mitigate risks and control costs

  • Collaborates with project team stakeholders via project management practices to ensure project and business needs are met without disruption to existing functions and services

  • Contributes to the establishment of cost controls associated with vendor outsourcing

  • Prepares documentation of requirements definitions, reference, and process mapping

  • Assesses, creates, and evaluate training materials including standard operating procedures, job aids, and manuals

  • Develops and recommends cost effective and sustainable processes

  • Performs Project management and task work related to governance, data quality, reporting and analysis tools

  • Maintains collaboration sites, provides limited security and Corporate data maintenance support

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related quantitative field (e.g. computer science, math, finance, industrial engineering, data quality management), plus minimum 3 years experience in at least two of the following areas – Analytics, Process Improvement, Project Management, Solution Development, Outsource Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • MBA preferred

  • Professional certification in process management, business analysis, and/or data quality management preferred

  • Ability to breakdown complex business problems into actionable progress steps to solution

  • Highly skilled in professional documentation and presentation development

  • Sound knowledge of business analytics techniques and project management practices

  • Knowledge of technical reporting best practices

  • Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Access, macro development & use

  • Ability to work independently, plan ahead, and prioritize workload

  • Good communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines within a fast paced environment with competing priorities
