4th Shift Floor Manager-Phoenix near Glendale

We are looking for a performance coach for a distribution warehouse located in Phoenix near Glendale. In this role you will ensure our contingent workers on shift are set up for success. You will greet our talent upon arrival and departure, ensure everyone uses the time clocks appropriately, familiarize new hires with their working environment and safe working expectations, be a positive role model to coach expected behaviors and improve productivity.

Schedule - 4th Shift: Fri, Sat, Sun - 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m

--Pay: $17 - $19 per hour depending on experience.

  • Work Environment Details:

  • Lunchroom available with Fridge, Microwave, and Provisions on Demand

  • 1 clear water bottle allowed on the floor

  • Cell phones must stay in your locker or car

  • Fully trained between 1-2 weeks

  • Appearance Policy:

  • Comfortable clothing

  • No tank tops - bare midriffs

  • No Shorts

  • Close-toe shoes

Responsibilities

-Be a positive contributor on our team

  • Maintain floor presence throughout the shift ensuring work areas are clean, safe, staffed and stocked appropriately to maximize productivity

  • Communicate with leads, supervisors or managers any work shortage in assigned areas

  • Move employees as required to maintain peak workflow

  • Attend start up meeting to obtain daily goals

  • Verify headcount and communicate any needs to management

  • Review daily productivity reports and coach talent performing below expected standards

  • Address behavioral concerns

  • Provide status updates to Randstad management

  • Monitor safe work habits in assigned areas and coach as needed

  • Collect checklists from production leads and turn in at end of day

  • Track any variation in expected labor hours (employees leaving early, etc.)

  • Provide daily feedback to management

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment

  • standing for 11 hours at one time

  • working weekends

Skills

  • Warehouse Management System

  • Working Independently

  • Supervising (1 year of experience is required)

  • Data Entry (1 year of experience is required)
