Comcast Sr Analyst, Talent Analytics in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Responsible for analyzing and evaluating operational performance metrics and resources. Maps metrics against the Company's operational plans and tactical/strategic goals to ensure alignment and focus. Creates and facilitates reporting and analysis to evaluate operational initiatives and drive operational efficiencies. Develops and maintains standard reporting measures, quantitative explanation of relevant data and ongoing analysis of alternatives and solutions. Quantitatively evaluates and recommends action plans, based on all operational reporting and analysis, in order to enhance the customer experience and drive operational efficiencies. May provide financial reporting, revenue analysis support, discount monitoring, promotional modeling and subscriber reporting issue resolution to various departments within the company. May act as a subject matter expert for all HRIS related inquiries and projects. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience or knowledge in subject matter.

Core Responsibilities

  • The Talent Data Analyst will be responsible for analysis to support Advertising’s focus on driving talent management, diversity and inclusion and employee engagement. The analysis will support the development and measurement of programs, workforce demographics, performance and other critical measures to provide real-time insight and information on individuals, companies and markets with an emphasis on high impact business decisions.

  • Work with Talent and HR team to gather, synthesize, and present information from a variety of sources to our partners and clients to support their executive talent strategies.

  • Identifies issues, analyzes available data and information and presents insights visually and in narrative

  • Consolidates data reports and delivers to help drive data-based strategic decision making. Data may be from a variety of sources and needs to be synthesized to tell a story.

  • Creates and maintains multiple operational reporting tools.

  • Provides analytical support of actual results of programs and HR practices.

  • Validates data through cooperation from team members and regular spot checks. Makes recommendations to ensure data consistency

  • May also conduct research on talent marketplace, leadership bench-marking, talent strategies and diversity initiatives

  • Identify trends and gaps, and proactively makes recommendations

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Professional Experience and Competencies include:

  • Familiarity with HR Data a plus

  • Highly analytical

  • Sense of urgency about getting results

  • Demonstrated ability to translate data in to a comprehensive, compelling story

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to tell a story visually through executive presentations

  • Attention to detail, high level of organizational skills

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and inspire trust

  • Comfort performing a wide variety of tasks and changing focus quickly as demands change

  • Proficiency in exporting and translating data from various applications and databases

  • Curiosity and high interest in learning about our business and industry
