Medical Surgical Per Diem Nurses will float to all Medical Surgical Units as needed.Hospital Per Diem Registered Nurses will work on the inpatient units as mentioned above at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience (Distance: 1 block away).All positions are self-scheduled based on availability: 6:45am-7:15pm or 6:45pm-7:15am.Requirements Include:48 hours per 6 week period24 of those hours will be scheduled on the weekend24 of those hours will be scheduled on the night shift3 major holidays or premium days required per yearHospital Per Diem Registered Nurses are compensated a base rate of $45 per hour. Hospital Per Diem RNs will receive shift differential for night and weekends as well as holiday pay.Qualified candidates will have:Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical and Telemetry ExperienceBLS and ACLSGraduate of an accredited BSN ProgramPennsylvania RN LicenseJoin the mission of Improving Lives!Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check.
