Job Summary

This position will be responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans and air conditioners.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose problem

  • Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts

  • Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary

  • Cleans and lubricates parts

  • Orders replacement parts

  • Inspects completed repairs

  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures

  • Requisitions new parts and equipment

  • May orient, train, assign, and check the work of lower level employees

  • May be designated as lead worker

  • Performs all necessary maintenance responsibilities as directed by leader (i.e. PMs, projects, various equipment repairs, etc.)

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • CNC Experience

  • PLC Software

  • HVAC

  • Welding

  • Knowledge of machine electrical set up

  • 5-8 Years Related Experience
