Job Summary

Our Category Manager at CARDONE supports and recommends inventory for customers and by analyzing data and working cross-functionally for all sales channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assessment of category, market, & consumer in relation to one another.

  • Collaborate and support the strategic planning process with the Sales, Product, and Finance organizations.

  • Present monthly and quarterly KPI reports & develop Short Term Action Plans.

  • Synthesize large data sets into actionable recommendations, prepare presentations and interact with the customer base in an effort to create sustainable category growth, and to meet or exceed the Category Strategic Plan.

  • Work directly with each customer?s category/product managers and cross-functionally within the Company to meet and/or exceed performance objectives and to maintain good working relationships.

  • In coordination with the Manager, Category Management, identify, develop and lead department and cross-functional improvement projects.

  • Accountable for the data and data management aspects of the assessment elements of the Category Planning process.

  • Acting as a Category Management functional expert, actively participate and provide input during cross-functional initiatives.

  • Responsible for the maintaining, accuracy and reporting of key account POS data

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years? related experience.

  • Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Business, Market Research or related field.

  • Category Management Certification (example: Delta and Associates (silver level), TPG or other AAIA acknowledged training resource) is a plus.

  • Extremely detail orientated.

  • Microsoft Office Skills.

  • Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills.

  • Strong Presentation Skills.

Travel Requirements: Up to 20%
