GregoryFCA HR Coordinator in Philadelphia Area (Suburbs), Pennsylvania

We are growing! Gregory FCA, a top 50 public relations agency, is searching for an HR coordinator. Our ideal candidate will also focus on recruiting for the firm, helping to identify and attract qualified candidates for open roles. The HR coordinator should have experience with HR procedures and can balance various tasks efficiently and effectively, reporting to the Senior Vice President, HR & Operations.

Main Job Functions

  • Assist with HR and hiring digital databases - ensuring files are up to date - as well as overall organization of all things HR related

  • Stay abreast of HR and benefits related news - share findings with supervisor

  • Support the onboarding process – ensure new hire forms are shared/completed, that new hires are enrolled in company tools/tech, for example

  • Understand company benefits offerings; maintain an updated summary of all benefits

  • As needed, support with operations-related functions, such as comparing phone providers, sourcing insurance carriers, etc.

  • Support the hiring process - coordinating interviews, compiling resumes, listing job openings, etc.

  • Identify and attract suitable candidates, assessing experience and skills and qualifications for open roles

  • Ability to pre-screen candidates and understand who is best suited for further discussions

  • Help promote company’s brand to attract talent

  • Follow company procedures, maintaining confidential information, showing discretion and good decision making

Education/Experience/Work Skills

  • Proven work experience in an HR or related role; 1-2 years of professional (or internship) experience

  • BS in Human Resources or relevant business field

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication – in person, over email, via phone and video

  • Ability to understand, tune in to, share and represent company culture and brand

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Team player with a positive attitude who is coachable

  • Adaptable to changing work priorities

  • Ability to understand, prioritize and execute new assignments, as well as multitask

  • Computer literacy (Google Suite, MS Office) and able to learn new software

  • Knowledge of labor laws (knowledge of benefits a plus)
