Quality Manager -Paxinos, PA

In our team-oriented environment, the Quality Manager will partner with production operations to ensure quality and compliance of the facility with applicable regulatory requirements. These activities may include reviewing documents and data, conducting process focused audits and inspections, consulting on quality and compliance issues, maintaining quality databases and performing trend analysis and reporting metrics where required, as well as performing quality and compliance training, as needed. Assist with the development of SOP's, specifications, policies, or other quality documents as needed.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide Quality oversight of manufacturing operations and data review for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and quality standards.

  • Provide guidance on all cGMP-related issues. Serve as the company cGMP subject matter expert.

  • Monitor and audit vendors labeling, packaging, and shipping for cGMP compliance. Ensure audit responses/corrective actions are completed in a timely manner and adequately documented.

  • Analyze and report quality trends to the appropriate functional areas and company management.

  • Interact closely with operations and other team members as necessary. Participate in development team meetings.

  • Provide appropriate risk analysis for key stakeholders to make critical decisions.

  • Maintain current working knowledge of the US GMP requirements, industry practices, internal policies, and SOPs that impact regulatory compliance.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • BA or BS in appropriate discipline or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with AQ measuring and testing equipment

  • Knowledge of safety requirements and legal standards

  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills

  • Strong project management and continuous improvement skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees, direct reports, internal stakeholders, and executive leadership

Physical Demands

  • Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds each

  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear

  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all-day

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

  • Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists

  • Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation

  • Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)

  • Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces

  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours

  • Able to work any shift, including overtime

  • Competent with using a PC, Word, Excel, and Windows OS

  • Reliable transportation


  • BA or BS or equivalent work experience


  • Must have verifiable work references
