The Sr. UX Architect leads all parts of the user centered design process including determining connections between business priorities and experience design, facilitating workshops, conducting usability testing, delivering prototypes and functional specifications.
Guiding user research and translating the findings
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Guides User Research:
Writes Discussion Guides.
Conducts user interviewing.
Moderates usability testing.
Directs 3rd parties in usability research.
Translates user research into product design and architecture.Design Leadership:
Collaborates in weekly sessions with Tech, Art, and Copy leads.
Communicates designs effectively to various departments and clients.
Translates high-level objectives and requirements into business requirement documents, interaction flows, sitemaps, wireframes, prototypes, and functional specifications.
Scoping of UX hours at the project level.
Collaborate on New Business Pitches.
Qualifications EDUCATION DEGREE/DIPLOMA AREA OF STUDY REQUIRED/PREFERRED Relevant Degree User Experience, Product Design, Visual Arts and Design, Interactive/Multimedia design, Industrial Certification User Experience
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE MIN YEARS AREA OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED 4 years UX Design of Applications, Websites, and User Interfaces
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Advanced knowledge of Omnigraffle, InVision, and Axure
Is attentive and shows interest in the subject; Expresses ideas clearly and accurately
Ability to work effectively in a team environment to build and foster collaborative environment
Ability to establish an effective demeanor and communication to influence one's point of view
Carefully plans ahead to ensure tasks are undertaken and time is used efficiently
