The Senior Product Manager will have a key leadership role in achieving our Brand goals by ensuring strategic pull through of marketing projects and programs, by leveraging KOL influence, and by monitoring market dynamics. The Sr. Product Manager will have input into our brand strategy, tactics and tool, market research direction, and will be a key partner in our preparation for the launch of new indications and products.

Execute the annual brand plan: manage the development and execution of brand tactics while monitoring effectiveness and ROI of each program
Manage targeted KOLs to leverage their influence through promotional medical education initiatives, congress activity, publications, etc.
Partner with Market Research to define research priorities that will yield actionable insights that will help shape brand strategy and direction
Educate sales force on product, strategy and tactics; support field requests; develop and implement POA meetings.
Develop & lead key marketing initiatives
Prepare for launch of future indications/products
Manage external vendors, including all agency partners in assisting with materials development and production; manage respective budgets
Participate in long-range planning; develop and manage project plans, assess resource needs; develop and implement processes and standards
Build strong collaborative relationships within the organization including Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Medical Health Sciences, Scientific Affairs, CESs, Legal, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs
Communicate progress, trends, and project updates to senior management and other appropriate people/groups within Pacira
Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience with Brand Management/Medical Communication; pain management experience a plus
Bachelor degree in Life Science, Marketing or closely related field from accredited college or university. MBA preferred.
Demonstrated success in the development and execution of strategies to respond to unique or challenging market dynamics
Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize projects effectively Strong written and oral English communications skills, strong presentation skills; proven ability to interact successfully with all levels of the organization as well as vendors and outside constituents
Ability to work independently; demonstrated self- starter
Demonstrated ability to leverage insights to identify and evaluate creative ideas, focusing on those that will create sustainable market advantage
Proven ability to maintain a strong attention to detail and quick recall
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of reference and bibliographic software and creation of reference databases are essential
Ability to successfully work cross-functionally
35% Anticipated travel primarily to attend society education meetings, field meetings with KOLs and/or conducting field research and advisory boards
