This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Lakemary is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. This position will conduct assessments for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum ages 2-21 years of age along with some adults. This role functions under general supervision of a Director of Health & Clinical Services.BCBA Responsibilities:Ensure that behavior analysis services meet the standards promulgated by CARF/DHS/DDD, Medicaid and other applicable entitiesTraining caregivers/staff on positive behavioral strategiesDevelop data collection systems and behavior support programs for individualsEnsure the behavior support plan addresses the function of the problem behaviorConduct treatment fidelity assessments to ensure proper implementation of the behavior support planReview behavior data, meet and discuss with the appropriate staff memberAn ideal candidate for this position has:Ability to:Speak and write clearlyDemonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detailCommunicate with individuals having a variation in disabilitiesMaintain satisfactory attendance at work siteBe flexible and work in different treatment situations to accommodate the disabilities of the individual and treatment service needsEstablish and maintain therapeutic relationships with individuals with disabilities and work effectively as a professional in a treatment team effortMaintain confidentiality of individuals servedWorking knowledge of KDHE PRTF Regulations 28-7-1207(a)BCBA Qualifications:Master's degree in behavioral science/human services field with major preparation in psychology, special education, or applied behavior analysis.Required experience must include at least two (2) year experience completing comprehensive functional assessments and behavior support plans;Required experience must include two (2) years' experience as a behavior analyst or related field;Two (2) years' experience serving individuals with lifelong disabilitiesOther Job Details:Day hours 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, days are flexibleStarting pay: $60,000 depending on experienceLakemary provides competitive compensation and benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans; paid time off; and a 401(k)-retirement planCertifications:Current License by the Kansas Behavioral Science Board or qualified to become Licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Science Board as BCBA.Maintains a current license.Lakemary provides training in program specific coursework.Special Considerations:Some environments/shifts require same sex staff due to regulatory requirements.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.
