VMware Senior Technical Product Manager – (Digital Platform - WorkSpace One) - Opportunity for Working Remotely in Palo Alto, California


We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Workspace ONE Freestyle Orchestrator team within VMWare’s End-User Computing division.

In this role you will collaborate across Workspace ONE teams to create seamless orchestrated and automated workflow experiences that connect enterprise organizations, 3rd party systems, and endpoints together on a low-code / no-code platform. You will have the opportunity to work directly with VMware customers and OEM partners to translate their real-world challenges into opportunities that we can address directly with our technologies. Your work will be highly visible and will elevate the experiences of VMware Workspace ONE customers around the world.

Scope of Role:

  • Shape the product strategy and roadmap for one or more key areas that meet the needs of our enterprise customers

  • Define low-code / no-code process automation features and capabilities, and define experiences to unlock customer use cases

  • Understand our users, the market, and competition

  • Communicate product strategy and requirements to key stakeholders

  • Drive the product life cycle - ideation, design, prioritization, development, and delivery

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and analytics teams to make swift and smart decisions, move fast, and deliver for customers

  • Accountable for success of the product.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of PM experience owning software product(s) or functionality of software product(s), in particular to orchestration/automation, from start to finish.

  • Experience with business process management and digital process orchestration / automation technology.

  • Experience collaborating with software engineers, architects, ux designers, leadership, internal/external clients, and/or other professionals.

  • Ability to take multiple inputs from various sources and consolidate them into a strategy, product vision and roadmaps.

  • Ability to use data to solve problems, identify opportunities, and are capable of inventing and using new metrics to learn and make decisions.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent customer empathy & customer experience intuition; a track record in creating innovative and user-friendly products and customer-facing features.

  • Ability to handle a number of concurrent activities with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

  • A visible product expert, sharing best practices both internally and with customers.

  • Preferred experience with enterprise software requirements, deployments and security.
