Clinical Nurse (RN), Neurology Stroke - Days
L5 is a 22 bed Intermediate ICU and Tele unit. The scope of service includes providing care to adult and geriatric General Neurology, Stroke, and Epilepsy patients that require cardiac monitoring such as status post cardiac interventions, rule out Myocardial Infarction (MI), Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Arrythmias, Pulmonary Hypertension (PH), Stroke, and Diabetes patients requiring intravenous insulin drips. This unit is a Comprehensive Stroke Certified by the Joint Commission. It is a level 4 specialized Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.

BSN and CA RN license required. BLS and ACLS required. Minimum 2 years nursing experience in an acute care hospital. Experience with Medicine, Neuro/stroke and Tele patient populations preferred.
